This was reckoned by many to be Churchill’s biggest wartime blunder.
Ah, ah. You forgot Churchill was the moving force behind Gallipoli. But mostly colonials (Aussies) were killed in that blunder, so WTH?

If Churchill had been Allied CIC, we would have lost the war.

Fortunately for us, Hitler was effectively the Nazi CIC and lost it for us.
