Hi Frank,

Nancy and Wendy need an 802.11 refresher

>>All WiFi or 802.11 technologies use unlicensed frequencies in either the 2.4 GHz or 5.8 GHz range.<<

802.11a uses 5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.725-5.825 GHz

802.11j uses 4.9 GHz and 5.0 GHz licensed and unlicensed frequencies

802.11REV-ma uses 4.9 GHz licensed frequencies

802.11p will use 5.85-5.925 GHz licensed frequencies

802.11y will use 3.65-3.70 GHz licensed frequencies
