Leo, the name and image of Quattro Pro literally smells like rotting fish. It's a terrific spreadsheet and QP8 is on par with Excel. So why doesn't Corel change the name? It has been addressed before, both privately, and on the thread. I even threw out suggestions, but the whole call fell on "deaf ears."

I even provided suggestions like Corel "Accel," a moniker for accelerate and a spoof on "Excel. Better yet, my favorite choice is Corel "Accura," a moniker for accurate.

When your spreadsheet is in third place after Excel and 123, there is nothing to lose from this kind of change in the image of the Suite, but everything to gain. Regardless of the name, I hope management GETS THE MESSAGE, FOCUS ON THE SUITE!

Up . . . . :(
