Notice no follow-up diplomacy by Rice-Bush on peace in Israel. Clinton worked his butt off his last two years in office to try and achieve the ultimate diplomatic coupm and make peace in Israel and Palestine. He almost succeeded too. There are two root causes opf terrorism: religious squabbles in and around Palestine and oil addiction by the west/US military bases in Arab countries. We could if we tried remove both of those problems.
