| | I was confused about that for a while, but think I finally see what happened. The post is intact and I checked her deleted post list, but nothing like that one was in her rather small list.
But the fact that the post I saw on iHub was a response to a different-numbered post than the one quoted here as having been deleted kept me confused for a while until the answer just occurred to me.
And the difference in reply number would understandably lead one to believe the post had been deleted and reposted.
The reality is that iHub has had major problems lately, especially on busy boards, with duplicate messages numbers, so Dave wrote a routine that finds boards with this problem and renumbers them at night.
So, though I didn't check, I suspect the post quoting that long one with only a 4-word comment was deleted, but the long post by txprincess wasn't deleted.
As for whether or not my posting here was a drive-by, well....
I am extremely suspicious that CSHD is indeed a scam, and has all the hallmarks of some of the worst ones I've seen.
And I'm not thrilled with the way the Moderator model is panning out. Well, being occasionally abused. And Matt is over-run. iHub gets more posts per day now than SI did when Jill and I were admins with a team of CS folks behind us.
I have plans to address that. But I know the way you are. I could make it perfect tomorrow and you'd be upset with me still about the past.
Bottom line is I came by to add my own two cents about how suspect I find this stock, only to find I'd actually walked into a dark alley to get mugged.
So I won't be participating often. Just occasionally so I can submit a "1" vote.
Oh, and before you say it, okay, I'll let you have "You deserve to be mugged". And respond with "Whatever".
I've had this argument before where basically I'm a villian simply because I run message boards, and message boards are often used to victimize people in scam stocks.
Message boards will always exist, though, and we could do far WORSE as far as management/ownership teams go. |
