Unfortunately, Bush and his neocons, notably Cheney and Rumsfeld, just cannot let go. To be sure, they have botched things up, big-time, and they refuse to admit what they did is now FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition). By the way, Colin Powell had warned them with words to the effect, "You break it, you fix it." But Bush and his henchmen were so cocksure of victory that they never bothered to listen to Powell. And so sure of American victory were some posters on SI that they hailed Bush as the greatest president ever in US history and they roundly condemned doubters, skeptics and critics as stupid, idiotic and moronic and needed to "wake up" ASAP. Little did they realize that Bush was "re-elected" by cheating (i.e., American elections have become a criminal enterprise) or given the benefit of the doubt.
Where are those ardent Bush admirers now? I have not heard from those confident and strident exhorters for a long, long time! Wazzamatta with them? Not a peep from them!!! Incredible!!! Have they disappeared into the woodwork or are they hospitalized because their "tickers" suffered massive shocks?
