- And the massive amount of drilling and company consolidation requires quick moves for optimizing profits and minimizing losses. This certainly can work for the sharp trader. However this style is not for everybody. One can achieve excellent and possibly better profits buy buying value and holding for the long term.I am sure you trade out of some positions that are now much higher.
