<How do you believe evil should be confronted with military force, if ever ?>

Absolutely yes -- when there is no other way and when the circumstances warrant it. As for talking, it turns out that talking is the most effective thing that countries can do most of the time. The fact that we are not talking to North Korea and Iran is tragic for us.

It is the same for all people. In your own city or town you talk with people and they talk with each other. To resort to violence as the only means of dealing with differences would in itself be evil.

We can be, have been and could continue to be evil ourselves. If we want to stamp out evil, the low hanging fruit is in our own backyard. As for evil abroad, if we establish ourselves as not evil then we can lead the free world and stamp out evil elsewhere. The worst mistake we can make is to think that the evil of others justify our evil deeds. That is the road to 'hell' for all of us.
