RE: DPTR

Many of those posting on DPTR are mine.... I study Eric Sprott's picks and even Jim Puplava. Why? They have the money to spend tremendous amounts on due diligence. They send their own geologists out in the field for due diligence. They make us all look like amateurs. When someone like Eric Sprott says a stock like DPTR has 40X potential I take notice. When he has over $ 120 million invested in DPTR and his largest single position I take note.

I admire great due diligence. You all are fortunate to have Crossy here. He is very good!!

Let me show you what a professional geologist(Oilfnder) does for due diligence on DPTR:

First here is my background summary on DPTR:

Oilfnder introduces himself---He is an independent consultant in Central Utah, and a prospect generator.

Oilfnder gives more detail about himself:

I have worked in the Central Utah Sevier Fold and Thrust Belt during the past ten years, beginning prior to Wolverine's recent Covenant Field discovery. I have personally reviewed over 1000 line miles of seismic data in Central Utah and have generated some half dozen prospects. Approximately 400 line miles of seismic data is licensed by my partners and/or
associates. I have participated in working interest or ORR interest in four exploration wells to date in Central Utah, but none of these wells have drilled deep enough to test the Jurassic Navajo Sandstone (approximaely 1,200 feet thick).

Provides a little detail on DPTR on Central Utah prospect:

Background

I have owned a little DBLE for a couple years. They are going to begin drilling a "big" prospect in Utah called Christmas Meadows. A DBLE shareholder comes on the DPTR thread and requests that the oil geologist Oilfnder look at DBLE and the Christmas Meadows prospect. DBLE has been pursuing this natural gas prospect since 1984 !! I've seen reference to a potential 3 TCF --each TCF worth about $ 1-$2 billion in market cap.

Brinks, you make a good point regarding liquidity of the DPTR and DBLE. Both companies have high profile prospects, however, DPTR has 21 high profile prospects in Utah compared to DBLE's high profile Christmas Meadows Prospect.

I have a great deal of interest in putting together a full time scouting team for DPTR's Joseph Prospect with three small companies ready to jump on board. Perhaps it’s possible to scout the Christmas Meadows test well at the same time, assuming they drill before winter. It might take a helicopter after winter sets in, but I'm not that ambitious.

My company was scouting the Wolverine - Kings Meadow Ranch discovery well when they perforated the Navajo Sandstone (Nugget Sandstone equivalent). The Covenant Field (96 million barrels) is located in Sevier County, Utah. DPTR will drill and test 21 prospects on the same trend and/or parallel trend. Most of DPTR’s prospects have far greater potential than the Christmas Meadows Prospect (IMHO).

My partners and associates leased over 120,000 acres after the Wolverine discovery, and we had nearly a one year head start prior to the announcement of a discovery. My partners and associates had as many as 18 lease brokers and/or abstractors’ working full time after the Wolverine Kings Meadow Ranch was perforated. It pays to scout wells, and scouting a high profile wildcat prospect my pay off with a small public company.

Although the Christmas Meadows Prospect is a high risk high reward (high profile prospect, I'm more interested in high profile oil prospects in Central Utah.

No doubt the time to buy in on DBLE is you have the tenacity to scout the well and you witness a flare. If have made a fortune doing this.

"(I have 26 years experience working in thrust belts compared to your xx years experience working in thrust belts?)."

"What money pit?…..Wolverine hit there first well and they have been successful in drilling 9 out of 10 development wells with 96 million barrels proved. Check out the following link. It is you sir that is blowing smoke)"

searchanddiscovery.net

"Keep in mind that DPTR is drilling 21 prospects as large as the Christmas Meadows on the same trend as the largest on-shore oil discovery made in the last 20 years (Central Utah Covenant Field). The major difference between the two areas is 900 feet of potential net pay in the Jurassic Navajo Sandstone (primary objective) compared to how much pay anticipated in the Frontier and Dakota Sandstone? Keep in mind Central Utah is primarily an oil play and not a gas play with declining gas prices."

Who has failed to due their due diligence? Enough said as I do not wish to debate on this forum. My sole interest comparing DPTR and DBLE high profile areas of interest, and I have not even mentioned DPTR apparent new gas discovery in the Columbia River Basin in Washington State that may dwarf the Jonah Field.

Bottom Line: Do your own DD. Both DBLE and DPTR are high risk/high reward. How about scouting your own wells as part of your due diligence?
