Warp 10 Signs Agreement With #1 Network for Distribution Through 16
Members at 58 Locations Across the United States

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1997--

System Accelerator Now Available Through The Largest

Graphic Arts Distribution Network In The U.S.

Warp 10 Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: WARPF; CDN: WARP), today announced
that it has signed an agreement with #1 Network for its System
Accelerator compression software to be distributed throughout the United
States. Founded in 1974, #1 Network is the largest U.S. graphic arts
distribution channel with 16 dealer companies covering 58 full-service
warehousing locations. #1 Network pools its member capabilities and
tremendous buying clout to offer its customer's local service and
nationwide resources. System Accelerator is Warp 10's software solution
that compresses images by up to 90%, thereby dramatically improving the
speed and volume of digital assets moving through a communications
network.

``#1 Network's primary mission is to provide the graphic arts industry
with the best solutions for streamlining workflow across a network,''
commented Warp 10 CEO Marvin Igelman. ``That is precisely the focus of
Warp 10's software and technology and that's why we are so excited about
this agreement. We know that the 400 salespeople in the #1 Network
understand the needs of high-content businesses in the digital age.
Offering our products through the most knowledgeable, focused and
extensive distribution channel in our target market will obviously be of
great benefit to Warp 10.''

Products distributed through the #1 Network must first undergo a
rigorous selection and testing process. ``Our products must outperform
other manufacturers and demonstrate a world-class standard of
excellence,'' said Mike O'Neil, General Manager of #1 Network. O'Neil
also said that the #1 Network believes that ``streamlined workflow is
the best way to increase productivity and revenues.''

Warp 10 has signed several other distribution agreements recently in the
U.S., Canada and Japan as its digital asset management software and
technologies continue to prove their value to high-content industries,
such as publishing, graphic arts, pre-press and entertainment. Last
month Warp 10 signed reseller agreements with Unisource Graphic Arts,
the largest marketer and distributor of paper products and supply
systems in North America, TSG International Inc., a Toronto-based
company that focuses on ``strategic digital printing,'' and Thompson
Publishing Inc., dba The Publishing Group, a San Antonio-based value
added reseller. In June, 1997, Warp 10 signed a licensing and marketing
agreement with Japanese-based Rokuoh Novatec Corporation to sell System
Accelerator to distributors, retailers and original equipment
manufacturers in Japan.

System Accelerator reduces archiving and retrieval times by as much as
90%, increases storage capacity ten times and results in optimized
network traffic flow and significantly faster transmission, printing and
proofing times. System Accelerator is capable of taking a print job from
conception to production in the digital world and producing it faster,
cheaper and better. Southam Inc., the largest newspaper publisher in
Canada, currently is using System Accelerator to manage digital assets.
Southam reports savings of 30-40% using System Accelerator.

Warp 10 also develops a technology called WarpRes that allows the end
user to retrieve virtually any combination of resolution, dimension and
color quality of high-content images on a completely ``open system''
architecture. WarpRes also dramatically reduces downloading time and
storage requirements of image files and therefore allows greater
flexibility in managing these ``digital assets.''
