Wishful thinking. Vast majority of legal immigrants who have green cards, can afford to buy a house, and want to buy one, ALL have bought. Those who have not bought, are those who do NOT want a house in the US, who are illegal, who are still on temporary working visa, or who cannot afford.

So counting on them to save the housing market in the US is nothing but a wishful thinking.
