Five stocks, oooo that would have my knees wobbly, too scarey ... that means one or more would be over twenty per cent, pushing thirty per cent quite likely, the way values dance around ... if this collection formed any considerable portion of net worth it's asking for trouble imho, because anything can happen, and frequently does ... even to the best-looking proven-resources play, they can have financing or permitting problems and tank on you ... maybe they come back later but in the meantime you don't feel so good, and maybe they don't come back either, for some reason
For periods when my p.f. was much reduced [from cashing up to do off-market stuff] i'd have a single favourite up to thirty per cent, pushing fifty at times if memory serves, but that's different .... at the moment i've got mmgg somewhere between fifteen and twenty per cent, no way i'll buy any more, even though i see it as the surest thing out there .... and my whole p.f. is not much over twenty per cent of net worth, if that - it's good to keep things casual imho, so that it's an enjoyable hobby
And only four stocks at the moment, yikes ... but tell us what number five is, eh ... i shoulda jumped on pom.v when you first mentioned it, it looked good but i had no cash at the time ... that was thirty per cent ago, nice call
