Fair enough. Given that you own shares of both companies, why would you choose to hold both given your thinking GG vis a vis GLG?

I view the situation more as a Gestalt, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The combined GG-GLG corporation would seem competitive with some of the largest gold-producing corporations on the planet. As it is, neither are. I guess the question becomes, where is the greatest gain going to be realized -- in gold-production, exploration-development, or a combination there of?

I would hold neither if I did not believe the price of gold was about to rise rise in the near term and continue to do so. You might enjoy listening to the following link -- it's another opinion -- albeit on a generic level and not GG or GLG specific.

Thank you for the feedback.
