I would very much like to read everyone’s opinion about what constitute “good” or “evil.” There’s been a lot of dancing around the subject on this board, but I haven’t seen any pithy comments yet – just lots of labeling: “hypocrite, liar, idiot, traitor,” etc.

I’ve had a working view of evil which revolves around the idea of ‘predation:’ those that would take from “us” or “me” are evil, and those that help/give me aid are good and kind. If Hezbollah kills Israelis, how can they not be evil to Israelis or their supporters?! Obviously, if Israel cluster bombs Lebanese (civilians), how do Arabs or Persians not see Israel an evil son of the Great Satan?

I deplore the tactics that behead anyone. I equally deplore the indiscriminate collateral damage caused by the bombing of questionable military targets. I see many posts condemning the particular tactics used by both sides. I’d be extremely curious to know if there are any tactics that might be agreeable to both sides.
