Here is what I have learned. This morning NASDAQ contacted George Faris and told him that they would want a release that would explain the heavy volume of the last two days. George said that the company he was talking to was not anxious to make an announcement at this time (I think they wanted to wait until next Monday). Nasdaq insisted and decided to halt trading pending a news release which AIPN agreed to provide this afternoon. Lawyers in New York and with the mystery company are trying to come up with a "generic" release. They will have to pass it by NASDAQ. If NASDAQ insists on something more specific and detailed they will be forced to put out a full-blown announcement identifying the party that they are talking to (I, for one, hope NASDAQ insists). I was told that, whatever was released, I would view it as very positive. The person I spoke to predictably refused to ellaborate.

Cheers...Faris
