BeeSoft's ProTA Gold is an excellent program, and the best Mac charting software even though there has been no version for OS X (finally, one is in beta testing). I've run it for six years alongside Windows programs that are clumsy charters, but much faster as database scanners (and this is with more complicated formulas than can be written with any Mac program). I wouldn't buy a technical analysis program before seeing OS X ProTA on an Intel Mac.
