LOL Hawk! No way did Israel want them mucking about. Remember, they don't negotiate with terror organizations. Except now they are going to. Oh my! Israel is playing a semantics game to avoid that. Annan thinks he has agreement with Israel and Lebanon/Hezbollah to "mediate" and exchange. Israel won't negotitate with Hezbollah and the word "mediate" is too close to "negotiate". Israel is therefore insisting that they agreed that Annan can "facilitate" the release of the Israeli soldies. jttmab
