You understand that when you anchor a platform in 7K feet of water, you need at least ...say...9k feet of chain at least four times over. (Big might be able to provide more accurate details. If you put 9K feet of chain on the bow of one of their older, smaller service vessels, it would likely sink by the bow. They had to build a new fleet for the deeper water, and as I recall, they were the only company with the foresight. The analysts ripped them and knocked about 20% off the price. As far as I was concerned they had a very nice financial plan for the new builds.
