Kissinger and Nixon were your boys. Reagan cut and run when the Marines were attacked in Beirut. Another one of the heroic Presidents of the Republican party. Reagan also has the dubious honor of committing war crimes, per your definition, by starting the war with Grenada.

You morons have this bizarre philosophy that putting a country through decades of conflicts will result in a fledging democracy. You deny history. Put southeast Asia through decades of war and you'll end up with a Khmer Rouge. Put the mid-east through decades of conflict and you'll end up with a militant Islamic dictatorship. You're feeding the very monster you want destroyed. Look at what's happening with global terrorism with Bush's strategy, it's spiraling out of control. Hezbollah is more powerful than it's ever been. Iran has swung away from the moderates to the extremists. The Prime Minister of Lebanon now claims they will be the last Arab country to ever sign a peace agreement with Israel. Al Qaeda leadership is in Pakistan where UBL has a 65%+ approval rating.

And you want more of the same. Nearly 3/4 of Americans think the US is headed in the wrong direction. You're in the 1/4.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if 35 years from now the archives releases Rummy's notes and we find out they already decided Iraq was a lost cause but they had to drag it out so the end didn't happen on their watch.
