Frank, I'm not sure I have a lot to add to my comments other than describe a bit more as to what precipitated my post. I retired from IBM after 30 years more than 14 years ago but retain my interest in things technical; have actively used GPS since it was available on various sailboats I have owned (plus recent vehicles); and have participated in music either actively or just enjoyment since the age of six. In other words, the subjects of the preceding posts were of personal interest. Last but not least, I am in utter disbelief how few of the general population are yet to discover the power and richness of the net. Though I am certain my comments added nothing new to the regular contributors to this thread; my hope is that the casual reader might think a bit more about the potential of the online experience.
