Emory, I'd like to second Dale's thanks for the work you're doing on educating us about the "double-counting" issue. As I mentioned before, there was a long discussion about this on the IOM thread about a year ago, but no one there had the good idea that you had to talk directly to NASDAQ, they just talked to brokers, friends of brokers, and such.
Even though you haven't found any "hard numbers" in your discussions, your information certainly carries the imprimateur of authority that none of the earlier sources had (and they were almost always giving those "hard numbers" that your NASDAQ contact states are not to be had!).
