The guy who wrote the definition of illusion did not understand gestalt psychology-lol. There are two species of illusions abnormal and subtle. How did Neanderthal see reality? Probably much like primitive tribes. Gregory Bateson, the great anthropologist wrote a very esoteric book called an ecology of mind which chronicles much of his studies of primitive tribes in Papua New guinea. Our minds create reality. John Wheeler guesses our minds may really create reality-lol.
