Hi Zeke, yes, I know about how oil is discovered and then it takes 5+ years to affect the market. However, what I was thinking was that this oil boom has been going on for 5 years. So assuming that big oil started investing heavily in exploration 2-3 years ago, then we can expect the results of that to start depressing market prices for oil in the next 2-3 years. Do you think my reasoning is too optimistic?

The reason I care is that I think this stock market and Cisco have a heavy weight on its shoulders until such a time as oil goes down.
