The dollar's been under pressure from debt, inflation, trade imbalances and artificially low interest rates.

Interest rates have been moving up which has stemmed the slide, but the other stuff hasn't abated and can't be expected to if the Dems take the House. In that case ALL we can expect is stagnant government, which won't help with the structural financial problems that are undermining our currency.
