This is the ONLY reason they are continuing the failure. Politically, it's a loser for them. Dumb, stubborn macho pride is the ONLY reason our troops die in Iraq today. It's also the ONLY reason the chimp won't fire Rumsfeld. He's unable to REALLY admit any mistakes.

Just as with Vietnam, Johnson said; "I'll be damned if I'M going to be the first American President to LOSE a war!" He left it for Nixon, just as the chimp intends to leave it for HIS successor.
