Once again I find my cynicism to be unwarranted optimism. I had hoped that the energy necessary to produce the hydrogen would be taken from other sources and the inefficiency wouldn't be a long term issue.

I suppose this means Bush won't be doing any photo ops with hydrogen fuel cell companies. In retrospect, I should have known that was a clue that it was a dead end.
