Bush had 8 full months to prevent the 9/11/01 attacks and did not do so. Bush was specifically warned on 8/5/01 by the CIA in the Presidential Daily Briefing that "Bin Laden was determined to strike inside the U.S.". Did President Bush heighten security after that specific warning, perhaps put more military personnel and aircraft on high alert status? Did he order a redoubling of efforts to track and find Al Queda members inside the U.S., as the FBI in Minn was requesting? No, he did not. Sorry, but for a change conservatives should live by their credo and accept responsibility instead of trying to shift the blame to Clinton. 9/11/01 happened on Bush's watch and he missed many opportunities to defend our country, including his incredible non-reaction on the morning of 9/11/01.
