Pubs tend to do much more ambitious food now. Say, tournedos of lamb, au jus, with rosemary crushed potatoes and maybe asparagus and runner beans on the side? Mmmm.
Although the wife does love the herby sausages (locally made), mash and onion gravy... from one of our local pubs...
