Peter, you put the financial aspect of RI's wireless ambitions into better perspective, and I tend to agree with you. My question, however, had just as much to do with the human capital costs and the calendar-months/years that would be required for such a far-reaching platform-centric undertaking. I.e., the initial deliberations and kickoff meetings; gaining concensus; the planning that centered around an 802.11 platform; and then the engineering, procurement processes and delivery times; individual implementation and testing times; and the length of sustained service that would be required in order to justify the overall effort. You hit it on the mark, however, with your comment concerning 801.11n's eventual ratification, and the fact that pre-standards .n product will be "good enough". Thanks.
