I can't speak for Louisianians in general, since I don't live there anymore. My impression, based on family and friends in Louisiana and Mississippi is that they don't politicize Katrina like the rest of the country does. A hurricane is an Act of God. And it doesn't matter whether the government is Democrat or Republican, Acts of God happen. As for what happened afterward, everybody's just disgusted at them all, doesn't matter whether they're Republican or Democrat, they dropped the ball.
