It might be nice to see a more unbiased description of the debate and the issue about including it that one that claims

"where she gets her skinny ass handed to her" and "but I'd assume Coulter refused to sign a release because Franken makes her look like the wingnut idiot that she is"

Some of the comments to that blog post -

Why would they need clearances if this is a documentary? If it was broadcast, and someone owns the broadcast copyright, isn't it true that the clearance would have to come from the broadcasting entity, not Coulter? For example, the heated exchange broadcast last night on NBC between anchor Brian Willams and President Bush; NBC owns that copyright.

Maybe the editor wishes he was himself 3 months ago so he could go back in time and not be so desperate for a cheap shot since that desperation caused him to break any number of copyright laws, especially when that cheap shot was aimed at a lawyer?

Also, is it ok for Ann Coulter to not sign a relase form when she's fully aware that the context and meaning of her statements will be at the mercy of someone who despises her and has said so?

Why not just have Al Franken call Ann Coulter a Nazi cow with a bad dye job? The intended audience of this movie would find it just as enlightening.
