Are you contending that faith without action is faith that is alive.
i don't beleive so, James never meant that actions saved you. i didn't either.
BUT, FAITH WITHOUT ACTION IS DEAD CHRISTAINITY.
I NEVER SAID IN MY POST ANYWHERE THAT ACTIONS SAVED YOU.
It's obvious from your post that you were misguided by religion for a long time and bear some resentment over it.
but, i do maintian that christians that get saved and join the bless me club are in for a big disappointment. Christianity in the comfort zone is just going through the motions.
The misassumption on your part was thinking i'm releigious and I'm not. I've stated all too many times that there is only one way to salvation(grace, it's not earned) but after you are saved then Jesus said a good tree bears good fruit. And, what does He say about a tree that doesn't bear fruit???<ggg>
If you are really saved then good friut is produced.

You show me you faith without works and I'll show you my faith by my works...careful on disagreeing with this..

Too many times christians have the poor come and they say "let me pray for you to be warmed and filled" An obvious cop-out.

So, now I give you the choice my friend ..faith and grace only
or faith with actions..you choose<ggg>
