You misinterpreted my remark about colonialism.

The General's remark is something else apart from the resentment issue arising from past colonialism. Compare oranges with oranges and apples with apples!

The resentment has to do with the US and its allies being perceived as acting like other past colonial overlords dictating orders to a colonized country. In this case it is: "thou shalt not enrich uranium to make nuclear bombs."

I believe making nuclear bombs is the inalienable right of any country with the means to make them, especially when it is legal to do so under the treaty on non-proliferation.

I believe that General made his remarks about 911 because those are his perceptions of why 911 occurred, say, to justify US-Israeli actions for eventual world domination and control of oil which Iran has lots of.

You can nitpick all you want. Be my guest.
