Sailor, yes, you may feel this way, but it's only demons telling you that. There is nothing wrong with good works. Motives of those good works are important since you cannot be saved or closer to God through them.
I never degrade myself or what Christ did by thinking of myself as a poor sinner.
Jesus is in me and He paid too big of a price for me to degrade it.
Demons are the ones that continually tell you that you are worthless and a failure.. don't listen to them.<gg>

I don't know about salvation being simple. I bet no human on earth can describe what really happens. We can only repeat what God has attempted to describe in his Word about it.
I think we'll discover after death a deeper meaning to salvation.
before the thread jumps all over this please consider the fact that
after they die and meet our Lord face to face that has got to change things and gives us a better knowledge of what it's all about.
I'm a minister and have studied under the greatest teachers of this half century from Leonard Ravenhill to Lester Sumerall and I would never say "i understand it all completely".
But, I guess there are going to be plenty of post rebuking me on this and telling me they understand it all<ggg>
