Hi Peter. It may be that we each persist in looking at different factors. I've long since stopped arguing on the grounds of financial costs. I conceded that part yesterday. You're not seeing the part I am arguing, though, the part that has to do with the time spent by the private citizen & the sweat costs incurred during the developmental stages of a municipal broadband system. The latter are 'not' replenishable commodities for the persons who have already invested them, should a decision be reached to change course and move to a different platform due to a potential premature state of obsolescence. That's all that I was saying.

The problem was never about determining whether an elephant was in the room or not. The problem has always been about arriving at a consensus on the matter. FAC
