If you start with the idea that libertarianism is a political philosophy, and definitely not a theology, then it's possible.

To be an evangelical you have to both believe that there is Truth and submit to a deity. You can't get to libertarianism from either absolute truth or submission.

If you think of libertarianism as a political philosophy rather than a philosophy of life, I can see where they might seem superficially compatible.
