9/8/06 Update
A down week for biotechs, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index closing Friday off -6.77% YTD (vs. -4.03% YTD at its 9/1/06 close). The Charity Contest portfolios had an even lousier week, closing down -7.07% YTD (vs. down -3.06% YTD at its 9/1/06 close). At Friday's close, 10 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 20 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
RKRW remains in first place, but by a whisker over Wilder ($314 to be exact, according to my spreadsheet). And at Friday's close, RKRW's portfolio was up 35.46% YTD vs. 35.15% YTD for Wilder's portfolio.
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
