Happy Birfday, Pigpen en.wikipedia.org On March 8, 1973, he was found dead at age 27 of a gastrointestinal hemorrhage at his home in Corta Madera, California. Pigpen is buried at the Alta Mesa Memorial Park - Plot: Hillview Sec.Bb16 Lot 374 - in Palo Alto, California. His grave marker is inscribed: RONALD C.
