Bernanke may be getting others to do the criticism of Greenspan. He is already changing the FED from a one person shop to a more formula based, "democratic" style. A nice move for blame diffusion. On the other hand, any major criticism of Greenspan now is likely to unsettle the public. The problem of what will happen, inflation or deflation, bugs me. It also is bugging John Dizard, he doesn't know either, see his last article in the FT.
