inflation<weak dollar, huge public debt

stagflation<weak dollar, huge public debt, nothing is
made in america. After all, everybody knows that only
a few things go to SE Asia, raw logs, scrap metal, and
empty containers.

Housing debate--in my area I think many homes were bought
in order to rent. Scrambling for income some, others
just speculating--unwilling to own stocks but feel
pressure to invest.

I never feel pressure to invest--but I have learned
that savers are seldom rewarded. Five years now I've
been mostly in treasuries, getting 4-5%, maybe keeping
up with inflation. Maybe. But I think over the next
few years stocks and bonds will do especially poorly.
Finally my G fund will outperform.
