Amazing...this written by a man who just lived through the largest increase in domestic spending on a percentage basis in forty years...by a republican president, senate and house. You do realize that, don't you GZ? Nobody, nobody, has spent like the republicans in the past six years....new education programs, new highway programs, new drug programs, bridges to nowhere, earmarks, earmarks, earmarks.....
And how do we pay for it? Borrow...that, my friend, is the kind of fiscal responsibility that makes true conservatives shudder. Oh..yeah, there were those tax cuts that allowed you to keep more of your hard earned money....for a while. Somebody has to pay for the damn debt sooner or later. |
