Clinton does deserve a pass as does his team because of this reason and others. Its typical and i suspect given both domestic politics and vagueries of international relations make that so. Whats laughable is the clinton folks getting their panties in an uproar. Americans are witnessing folks who doth protest too much. And these are the same folks who stood by the reagan was a buffoon movie and hob nob with scum like michael moore and docudramatists like oliver stone. I think the november election just got a little closer. Wait to bush announces troop withdrawls and pullbacks from the more dangerous areas. Anyone who thinks the pres doesnt have any cards to play just doesnt understand american politics. Lame duck yes, dead duck, no way.
