Forgive my realistic optimism:

First would be to ask alot of questions, listen to the all suggestions and hire a team of professionals with proven track records.

Sell off any technology that is currently not profitable or spin it off as a separate company with a visionary at the helm. Let the sucker go public and fend for itself. Concentrate on Core Competency: Sorry Scott "reley on old fashioned selling techniques, have the sales force "buy influence" with corporations and vendors.

Check the market for price elasticity. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNSEAT MICROSLOP. (If and when that happens, it will be because they did it to themselves Eg:IBM) Consolidate operations to one location. Cut R&D to half of industry standards for two years. Let other technology companies waste shareholders money, then buy it when Corel has the profits to do so.

This would be just a start.
