Sakamoto Named Director, Worldwide Sales at InnovaCom
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 1997--Kit Sakamoto has
been appointed Director, Worldwide Sales, at InnovaCom Inc., designer
and developer of MPEG-2-based integrated circuit products, by Mark C.
Koz, Chairman and President.
Sakamoto has been active in technical startups for the past 20 years.
During the past four years he held sales management posts in the digital
video networking field. He was Worldwide OEM Sales Manager at NUKO
Information Systems, and prior to that Reseller Sales Manager at
FutureTel Inc.
In his new assignment Sakamoto will be responsible for all integrated
circuit sales functions including both board level and chip sales, OEM
and direct. I wonder what he'll sell now since Innovacom doesn't have products?
InnovaCom is developing an MPEG-2 single chip encoder that will begin
deliveries the first quarter of 1998 and has MPEG-2 board level joint
development and/or marketing agreements come on guys, make up your mind!! with Sun Microsystems, Digital
Equipment, Litton and Mitsubishi.
