I don't remember the "MSM" criticizing Bush Sr. for his speaking skills. The main criticism of Bush I, came from Rush Limbaugh and the right-wing. They didn't think he was tough enough and Reaganesque enough. When he actually dared to put the country ahead of his silly "read my lips" quote, they HATED him. Don't lump Bush I, in with Bush (the moron) II. It does a major disservice to Bush I.
