In a hospice, they can give you a morphine pump for pain without getting into trouble. At least, in theory.

As long as that "theory" includes the notion that all hospice patients experience "pain" sufficient to need one.

And that all irrevocably disabled patients can gain access to a hospice, which is not now the case.
