Hope this isn't OT but I'd like to ask some the investors here about the effect of the impending slowdown in real estate...actually it isn't impending..it is here and will become very apparent very quickly..... the RE is highly leveraged with all type of financing that should really be illegal in some cases....I suspect we are going to see some real unwinding of home prices over the next 12-24 months.....any thoughts how this will rebound into the rest of the economy and especially the tech and semi sectors?? I am basically a pessimist by nature and beleive that that asteroid out there is aimed directly at me....If anyone has any comments on the RE slowdown (crash?) and its rollover effects on the stk mkt and especially tech I would be real interested in listening??
