If folks like Professor Jones are silenced for their views and opinions, then we might as well admit that we are living in a fascist state already. >>> If this is true and Jones was falsely silenced and the government influenced BYU to do so than that would be a terrible thing. I'm not ready to believe that we live in a fascist state, but, it's not that unusual for a university to make a bad decision. I do think that a prudent government should take some action to make sure that truly false and damaging propaganda is not spread in manner that threatens our country. I'm not sure our government takes action like this, but in some case it would seem appropriate. However, legitimate study with peer review doesn't fall into that category. Does Jones have a web site now where someone can review his work?
