Agreed, he employs some conservative assumptions to simplify the calculations. It looks to me as though he also made some less than conservative assumptions that countered his conservative assumptions.

And it did fall slower than free fall. I'll eventually get around to finding the video that showed this the clearest. It was posted a few days ago by Tiger and your side of the argument seems to not want to believe their own eyes.
