Re: The "no planes" hypothesis can only exist, as a hypothesis, because the "official" fable is obviously a lie from start to finish. The combination that the "official" fable is a lie and there is a wide range of other possibilities leaves a large set of combinations of theoretical explanations. It can't be said that the "no-plane" hypothesis is impossible but people did hear the planes approach...and that doesn't quite jibe with "no-planes".
